Electronic books (e-books) are copyrighted books converted into digital format for electronic distribution. They are identical, page-for-page, to their printed counterparts, including graphics and text. You can gain access to e-books from home or the library 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You are able to search the entire collection and within specific e-books, as well as print selected portions of text, just as you would with a paper book.
Find e-books using any of these methods:
- The best way to find e-books is to search the Library Catalog (select "E-book" under "type" to search only for e-books). The catalog includes all of the library's e-books, over 100,000.
- You can also search over 70,000 e-books from Ebrary Academic Complete
- Search over 7,000 e-books from EBSCO
- Search over 20,000 e-books from Springer, mostly in the fields of science, technology and medicine.
